Come volunteer with CSERC to help with restoration projects in the region

At both of CSERC’s first two restoration workdays in March, our staff and volunteers planted conifer seedlings to help reforest high-severity burn areas of the 2013 Rim Fire.

Each year our Center partners with agencies to plan restoration projects on public lands of our local region. By volunteering you can do meaningful work that benefits the environment. You can also make new friends as you partner with others who share a love for our foothills and forests.

More Volunteers Are Needed – Can You help?

CSERC plans to do at least 12 restoration projects this year. How much of that important work gets accomplished will depend on whether we can gather enough volunteers. We know that volunteering is exactly that – helping because you choose to generously donate your time. Our challenge is to build a sufficient list of volunteers so we have enough showing up for each project.

Liz Gregg is coordinating our workdays this year. To learn about upcoming projects, visit the CSERC website at www.cserc.org - Go to “How to Help” and click on “Volunteer with CSERC.”

To sign up as a volunteer, please e-mail Liz at [email protected] or call her at (209) 586-7440. In order to do the many important projects that agencies have identified, we truly need more volunteers than we currently have. You can help make a difference!
