Sometimes the workdays meant de-compacting hard packed soil or digging for most of the day. Other workdays were spent collecting or scattering native plant seeds or spreading wood straw to cover bare soil and attempt to keep the newly scattered seeds from simply washing away in winter storms.
Over the years of workday projects, families, school students, REI employees, college students, retirees, and CSERC staff partnered together. All those efforts added up.
